Bleaching / Teeth whitening

If you do not like the color of your teeth talk to a dental health professional at our clinic with Dr. Kuzina. After a complete exam of your teeth and gums your dentist will be able to determine if you are a good candidate for a bleaching and will advise you on the proper treatment.

In-office vs at home teeth whitening

Wether you decide to do an in-office teeth whitening or at home teeth whitening your dentist will follow the procedure to make sure that there are no side-effects and reactions to the bleaching. When your dental exam is complete your dentist will be able to determine which procedure is best for you.
What you need to know before a teeth whitening
It is not recommended if you are pregnant or are breastfeeding.
If you have cavities, fillings will have to be done before the teeth whitening.
Advise your dentist if you have dentinal hypersensitivity, youwill recommend a treatment 7 to 10 days before the teeth whitening.
Avoid tobacco, red wine, coffee, tea or any other food that could alter the color of your teeth.
A teeth whitening must be done on clean teeth. You have to go for a cleaning 1 to 2 weeks prior to the procedure.
The teeth whitening will give you a beautiful bright smile but it has to be done carefully and under the supervision of your dentist.
